FLOWING LETTERS, HEALING WATERS A One Day Lettering Retreat at the beautiful Hot Springs of Glen Ivy
A beautiful get away to the desert-to the beautiful spa Glen Ivy Hot Springs. This place is so wonderful-here's a description
At the mouth of Cold Water Canyon, beneath the towering Santa Ana Range, Glen Ivy Hot Springs lies sheltered by the mountains and open to the sky. Water flows from deep in the earth into this natural sanctuary, as it has for countless generations. The first commercial use of the mineral springs can be traced back to 1860, and for 150 years Glen Ivy Hot Springs has attracted people who seek the pleasures of nature, water and exercise, of good food and camaraderie with others – the relaxation, renewal, and deep sense of well-being a day at the hot springs can bring.
With spacious outdoor pools and year-‘round temperate climate, every visit is an opportunity to rediscover a connection with oneself, with each other, and with the world around. Stretching across 12 acres of lush gardens, the spa also features California’s only therapeutic red clay mud bath, aptly named Club Mud and Cafe Sole where you’ll delight in healthy spa cuisine. Enjoy a soothing soak in the mineral baths and a special day of lettering in one of the beautiful cabanas.Glen Ivy Hot Springs your place to do things that are good and good for you-you deserve this!

I will be posting much more _ I have so much news to share-I just returned from an artist's grant workshop and I am so tired! Just wanted to share a cool project I helped with last week-here are pics of the New City School's Farm site -where over 150 people converged to make plots for plants, paint the soon to be constructed farm stand and chicken coop-thats my flower bed in the middle near the hay bales. My meditation group did this as a community service and I met Steve and Silvia and George and also talked to Donna the Chicken LAdy! It was totally fun and neat to see the community come together.
